Your work is always so poignant. I feel like your art always has a lingering sadness, a sort of melancholy to it. It always reminds me that as humans, our sadness is just as profound as our joy, and just as beautiful.
thanks dear for this beautifull words, and very truth,i must say i suck the sadness out of movies, social life, sorrow, pain etc,and put it in my works,,maybe i m weird but i paint much better when i feel the sadness nomatter if its my or others pain!i find more inspiration in sadness but sadness has a real weird beauty,i cant realy explain the feeling!
I don't know if you ever read "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran, but he has a chapter on Joy and Sorrow. Mostly what he says is that that which gives us joy also gives us sorrow, and that they are equally beautiful. They both enable us to feel the other emotion that much better. For what is joy without sorrow? If it wasn't for deep sadness we would never know what true happiness is. And you don't have to explain the feeling; your artwork does that beautifully.
